On behalf of our client, a leading regional financial institution with operations in Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Montenegro, we are looking for a Regional Business Development Manager to join their senior leadership team.

About the Role
This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead cross-border expansion and transformation for a well-established financial brand. You will oversee market growth, brand positioning, and strategic partnerships across four countries, driving innovation and coordinated regional development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement a market development strategy across Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Montenegro
Lead and evaluate all Business Development and Marketing activities on a regional level
Identify market opportunities and establish new strategic partnerships
Analyze competitor positioning and support strategic decision-making per market
Develop regional marketing and rebranding strategies for a distinctive brand identity
Launch and manage culturally and commercially tailored marketing campaigns in each market
Analyze internal operations and identify organizational gaps or inefficiencies
Promote a unified regional culture and standardize work processes
Define and implement departmental policies aligned with corporate objectives
Maintain and expand relationships with partners, financial institutions, regulators, and stakeholders
Monitor industry trends and innovations in financial technology for strategic integration
Drive market expansion, service improvement, and growth initiatives
Evaluate departmental performance and recommend enhancements
Oversee agent networks across the region, including performance monitoring and periodic reporting
Ensure regular coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including agents, partners, and clients
Inspire and manage business development and marketing teams across borders
Propose and lead promotional and marketing activities aligned with local business goals

Requirements

University degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, or related fields
Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
Additional certifications in digital transformation, strategic marketing, or leadership are a plus
Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, marketing, or similar leadership roles
Proven ability in market strategy, competitive analysis, partnership development, and brand positioning
Experience managing interdisciplinary and multicultural teams and sales networks
Strong skills in data analysis, trend monitoring, and KPI tracking
Capability to lead and mentor regional teams
Experience in building organizational structures and optimizing internal processes
Fluency in English; Macedonian, or Serbian is an advantage
Willingness to travel frequently within the region
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
