On behalf of our client, a leading software development company specializing in enterprise platforms, software solutions, and digital innovations, we are looking for a Cloud and DevOps Engineer (Azure & Kubernetes) to join their growing team.
As a Cloud and DevOps Engineer you will play a key role in building, deploying, and managing the cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and innovative environment. Working closely with developers, you will ensure seamless interaction between application, platform, and operations.
Role Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools like YAML, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on Kubernetes (AKS)
- Support the enhancement of DevOps practices including tracking and maintaining deliverables in DevOps tools
- Assist in the design and implementation of cloud solutions primarily on Azure
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Collaborate with development teams to support and optimize application deployment and resolve infrastructure-related issues
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Support database management (PostgreSQL, SQL databases, MongoDB)
- Apply security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes
- Develop scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency
- Participate in planning and testing of backup and recovery procedures
Qualifications and Requirements- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related software development role
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
- Solid background in Kubernetes, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or Bicep
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and concepts (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of structured and unstructured databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL databases, MongoDB)
- Basic understanding of APIs and cloud service integration
- Awareness of cloud infrastructure security best practices
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
- Strong communication skills in English
