About the Role
As a SAP Basis Consultant, you will be responsible for end-to-end customer engagement and service delivery for SAP Cloud customers, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition. You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding, service quality, system performance, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support SAP Cloud environments, focusing on SAP S/4HANA and Private Cloud Edition
Oversee customer onboarding, service delivery, and operational support
Ensure system reliability, performance, and upgrades
Troubleshoot technical issues related to infrastructure, networking, and cloud services
Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous service improvement
Handle change management, escalation handling, and issue resolution
Key Requirements
Technical Skills
Expertise in SAP Basis, IT Service Management, and SAP Applications
Experience with SAP release upgrades, cloud infrastructure, and system updates
Knowledge of networking, interfaces, and cloud environments
Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly assess and resolve technical issues
Soft Skills
Excellent customer engagement and relationship management skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making in high-pressure situations
Experience working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP
Experience with S/4H Cloud migrations and upgrades
Knowledge of ITIL, Lean, and Project Management fundamentals
Engineering degree with 4+ years of SAP technical consulting experience
